The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. The white enamel dial is in good condition, with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The watch glass has minor marking but is very acceptable. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition, just a small indentation to the back and a slight unevenness. The watch itself measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The movement has 17 jewels, four adjustments and there is a patent date on the movement of May 1904 the applicant was Henri Frédéric Sandoz, the founder of Tavannes, and it relates to the keyless workings. This particular watch has a good quality stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The Tacy was a combination of the names Tavannes and Cyma. Photos A 1920s Tacy Admiral pocket watch.
